As we continue to share the gospel and ask people to commit to living a life that pleases Christ, I know we are going to see more souls added to the Kingdom, and more people will join our church fellowship. With this growth, we will experience change. I want to follow God and allow Him to change us where we need to be changed, and not just change for the sake of changing. God is in control and we will follow Him wherever He leads. What we need to do is be obedient and faithful.
We need to be obedient to living out the scripture in our daily lives. We need to be authentic followers in a broken world. So please consider the following commitments:
1. Be involved in weekly Bible study and worship.
2. Use God-given talents to draw others to Christ.
3. Tithe and give generously to the ministry of the church.
4. Make prayer a top priority.
5. Invite, encourage, and bring people to church.
In closing, I want to thank you for allowing me to serve God as your Pastor. I am constantly amazed at the path God has brought me down. It is so exciting watching God work in our fellowship! I thank Him for all He has done for us and all He is going to do. God is good, all the time!
